Henry Aryan, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon and Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Today, he continues his affiliation with the University of California as a Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at UCSF, with a primary focus on spinal disorders and select consultations on cranial neurosurgical cases.

Throughout his career, his contributions have been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the Medical House Staff of the Year award, the Kaiser Permanente Award, the AANS/CNS Spine Section David Cahill Award & Fellowship, and the Excellence in Patient Care award from Saint Agnes Medical Center. He has also been recognized as a Top Doctor in Neurological Surgery by Castle Connolly.

His role at UCSF includes educating future surgeons, engaging in collaborative research, and contributing to peer-reviewed scientific journals.
